Cascading and Enduring Power of Attorney

Instruction Form - Print, complete and fax to us

Why do I need a Power of Attorney and what is it meant to do?

A Power of Attorney keeps control of your affairs within your family, not a government department. For more information please speak to your Financial Planner, Risk Adviser and Accountant or our Manuals on Mutual & Cascading Power of Attorneys and Estate Planning.

Do Brett Davies Lawyers GUARANTEE happiness?

Our documents leave out the gobbledegook and we put our money where our mouth is. If either you, your Financial Planner, Risk Adviser or Accountant are unable to understand any part of the Power of Attorney, even after we have explained it to you, then we do not expect you to pay for it. You get the Power of Attorney for free!

What if I don't like the Power of Attorney?

If you are unhappy with the Power of Attorney, in any way, then you may return all originals within one month to us for a complete refund.

When do I have to pay for the Power of Attorney?

Before we prepare your Power of Attorney we require full payment. Please either post us a cheque or complete the credit card details. Our costs are on the back.

What support does Brett Davies Lawyers give?

Your Power of Attorney has a 24 Hour Life Time Advice Warranty. If you or any of your professional advisers require advice on the Power of Attorney then just ring our 24 Hour Advice Line. One of our lawyers working in the area of Estate Planning will answer your questions. You don’t have to stamp or lodge your enduring power of attorney to make it effective. However, if your donee needs to use it to deal with real estate then it will first have to be registered at the Office of Titles. Your donee can do this when and if the need arises.
