Why?
I started with Brett Davies Lawyers in
January 1999. In my first week on the job, I was exposed to the Law
Society's annual Approved Quality Practice Audit. Coming from a background
of market research into improving customer relations, I was fairly
confident that I could show this new firm a thing or two. It didn't take
long for this illusion to shatter. As I went through all of the systems this
firm has to ensure quality management and client satisfaction, it was I who
learnt a thing or two. My role as Practice Manager, is to ensure that
this firm continues to adhere to and improve upon these Quality systems.
As a private Law Firm, we can only see clients referred
to us by their Adviser, Accountant or Lawyer. These people are putting a great deal of trust in us when
they refer their clients. We are their ambassadors. Any thing less than a
total commitment to quality, is therefore simply unacceptable.
Despite being West Australian, I am a fervent supporter of the
Carlton Football Club. I'm probably also responsible for a large percentage of
the club's merchandising sales. In May 1999, I was appointed a Commissioner for
Declarations in Western Australia. |
